General Properties

Egg Sanitizer is a blend of highly active fifth generation quaternary ammonium compounds in a very mild detergent base.  This non-corrosive and non-tainting formula ensures effective removal of deposits and dirt without affecting eggshell integrity.  Egg Sanitizer is effective against viruses, bacteria, mould and yeasts which can penetrate the eggshell and infect the developing embryos

Contains: 2% alcohol ethoxylates, 2 % blend of cationic surfactants, 3 % amphoteric surfactants

Instructions for Use:

Ensure washing solution temperature is 38 to 41oC

  1. For manual egg washing add 25 ml of Egg Sanitizer to 5 litres of water, which is sufficient for 100 eggs. Place the eggs in a wire basket and completely immerse for 5 minutes, don’t rinse and allow to dry. Prepare a fresh solution for each batch.
  2. For machine egg washing add 25 ml of Egg Sanitizer to 5 litres of water and wash eggs according to machine manufacturer’s recommendations. Change washing solution after each batch.
